ORG NYC was founded to bring something better to New York’s home organizing industry. Too many families were overwhelmed by cluttered closets, disorganized apartments, and routines that no longer worked—while many organizing solutions focused on selling you closet systems or plastic boxes (aka more stuff!) rather than solving real problems. The lives of minimalism and joyful urban living had given way to a pathology of things. New Yorkers were suffocating under the weight of a hallway full of Amazon boxes.
But we knew there was a way to bring order to those cramped New York City apartments, co-ops and offices. And in doing so, reclaim peace, comfort and better mental health.

Meet Allison Flanders
Meet Allison Flanders, founder of ORG NYC and a true New Yorker who understands the realities of small-space living. As a mom raising a young family in a 1,000 sq. ft. Manhattan apartment, she knows firsthand how overwhelming clutter can feel—and how life-changing the right organizing support can be.
Allison spent years in management consulting, helping companies streamline operations and make smarter decisions. But her real passion was always people. She loved solving problems, creating order, and helping others feel more in control of their day-to-day lives. In 2024, she launched ORG NYC to bring that same problem-solving mindset to homes and offices across the city.
Today, Allison leads a woman-owned, community-rooted business that offers personalized, judgment-free organizing services for every stage of life—from move-ins and nursery prep to downsizing and estate clean-outs. Whether she’s organizing files in a busy office or helping a family reclaim their living room, Allison approaches each project with care, calm, and respect.
